Hello! Thanks for coming to my little corner on the internet. I am Mustafa Ali Akbar, a developer-turned-designer, and currently a Senior Product Designer at Educative, Inc.

I have over 4 years of experience in design and I specialize in building products from 0 to 1. Previously, I have built a high-performing team at Educative, including the hiring of a design manager, starting with just me. And I believe empathy towards your team is a really cool thing to have.

I have experience working on complex products, launching new features, fixing existing ones, design systems, typescale, and color systems. Before Educative, I worked with a creative agency where I got to solve problems for clients like trivago, Gridapp, and Herb.co. I consider myself a forever learner and thrive among ambitious people on a mission.

When I am not working, I am usually learning French 🇫🇷 or learning to play guitar 🎸
